My PCOS Patient

Are you curious about how I pick my monthly topics?

The answer is simple. I build my content based on my patient's health struggles.

This month I’m discussing PCOS with you.

I have been working with Hannah as a client for 6 months, and we just finished working together in May.

Hannah (this name is made up as I don’t wish to share my patient's identity, however, their story is very inspiring)

Hannah has been struggling with her PCOS for 8 years!

Her PCOS diagnosis was not simple and she had started to believe she was just “being hormonal”!

Hannah suffered from severe mood swings, in addition to ‘time of the month’ meltdowns. She was in her own words when she came to see me “a hormonal mess”.

Her periods were irregular and could be excruciatingly painful to the point of making her throw up.

The key areas we focussed on improving were:

  • Stabilising her mood

  • Improving her flagging energy levels (as she would need to go to bed mid-afternoon due to feeling so fatigued)

  • Regulating her monthly cycle

  • Helping her make informed decisions about her diet (and increasing weight) by starting a specific PCOS diet to support her endocrine system

After 6 months I’m pleased to let you know that Hannah’s “acute PCOS” symptoms have all now calmed and she now has a toolkit and control over how she manages this moving forward.

It's time for you to discover how good you can feel and start taking control of your health and body
